Indian Roasted & Prepared Groundnuts — Snack Grade | Aflatoxin-Tested
HSN 20081100 · Indian roasted peanut exporter from Gujarat's Saurashtra belt — the same Rajkot/Amreli/Junagadh origin as our raw groundnut, value-added into finished snack products. Roasted & salted, blanched (peanut-butter grade), masala-coated, and honey-roasted formats. Aflatoxin-tested per consignment both pre-roasting and on finished product — roasting does not eliminate the toxin. EU B1 limit: ≤2ppb on finished roasted product. Private-label retail pouches (100g–500g) or food-service bulk cartons (10–25kg).

Origin & Traceability
Sourced from Gujarat — Same Saurashtra Belt as Raw Groundnut
Geographic Origin
Same Saurashtra origin as our raw Shelled Groundnut (Rajkot, Amreli, Junagadh), processed into roasted, blanched, or flavored snack formats at certified Gujarat facilities. Aflatoxin testing is required at two stages: raw groundnut pre-roasting AND finished product. The EU limit for roasted peanut (B1 ≤2ppb on finished product) is stricter than for raw kernels (B1 ≤4ppb) — this two-stage distinction is essential for Indian roasted peanut exporter compliance documentation.
Harvest Cycle & Availability
When It's Harvested
Raw groundnut is a Kharif crop (Oct–Nov harvest, Saurashtra). Once roasted and packed, finished snack product has a 6–12 month shelf life — year-round order fulfillment is standard. The critical quality window is raw groundnut procurement: aflatoxin risk is highest in groundnuts harvested late or stored at high moisture. Processing (roasting, blanching, coating) locks in the quality state at time of production — it cannot eliminate pre-existing aflatoxin, which is why raw material testing before roasting is essential.
Kharif (raw material)
Raw groundnut harvested October–December. Once processed and packed, finished product available year-round.

What This Means for You
- Year-round availability from processed, packed stock
- Aflatoxin risk is lowest on fresh-crop raw material (Nov–Jan)
Secure Your Allocation
Freshest raw-material stock available November onward. Year-round supply from processed inventory.

Frequently Asked Questions
Buyer Questions, Answered
No — roasting does not eliminate or neutralise aflatoxin. This is a critical misconception. Aflatoxin is a heat-stable mycotoxin: processing and cooking do not reduce contamination. We manage it at both ends: (1) raw material from Saurashtra's November–January new-crop harvest — lowest aflatoxin season; (2) pre-roasting aflatoxin test on the raw kernel batch; (3) finished product aflatoxin certificate before dispatch. The COA accompanies every consignment.
Four formats: roasted & salted (most popular globally), blanched (skinless, mild — peanut-butter grade), masala-coated (Indian spice profile — UAE, UK, South Africa), honey-roasted (for European and US premium snack retail). Retail pouches: metallized foil, nitrogen-flushed, 100g–500g. Food-service: bulk cartons (10kg/25kg). Private-label with your brand on the pack available. Share your target market, pack size, and flavour profile and we'll quote accordingly.
EU limit for roasted peanuts intended for direct human consumption: 2 ppb Aflatoxin B1, 4 ppb Total aflatoxin (EC 1881/2006). This is stricter than the raw kernel limit and the strictest globally. Indian groundnut from quality processors absolutely meets this limit — the issue is buyers sourcing from uncontrolled origins. We test every consignment to EU limits and provide the COA; EU buyers should specify 'EU aflatoxin limit' on every order.
Standard MOQ: 1×20ft FCL. Sample available; cost adjusted against first bulk order. Payment: 60% advance + 40% against BL copy. Terms improve — 50/50 on second, 40/60 on third. LC at sight for established buyers.
Quality Assurance
Our Commitment
Every consignment undergoes aflatoxin testing — roasting doesn't destroy the toxin, so post-process testing is critical. Raw material is pre-tested before roasting, and finished product is certified before dispatch.
